Craig David Explains Why He Has Been Celibate For Two Years

Craig David, a British R&B star, has stated that he hasn’t had sex in two years.

The 43-year-old musician said that he had been celibate in order to “heal his own issues.”

David said that avoiding intimacy has also increased his inventiveness.

“It’s been two years since I had sex. But, as much as I was like, ‘Wow!’ to myself at the time, [my] creativity has been on a 100, on a high, for those two years,” he said in a recent interview with TMZ.

The ‘Fill Me In’ singer hopes that being celibate will help him “mentally” prepare for his next relationship.
