I didn’t have any money when I met Chioma – Davido

AFROBEATS SUPERSTAR DAVIDO HAS DISCLOSED THAT HE MEET HIS WIFE, CHIOMA ROWLAND, BEFORE BECOMING RICH AND FAMOUS.

The musician remarked that if he hadn’t met Chioma before becoming successful, he would have struggled to find love.

He revealed this while appearing as a guest on the most recent episode of The Bridge Show.

According to him, “I have a very rich friend who is single; everytime I’m on the phone with my wife, he acts as if he has everything in the world, yet this is what he is missing.

I met my wife before I had any money. I told myself that if I hadn’t met her and was now single and met a lady, I’d instantly know she was talking to me because of who I am and what I have.

“To me, success is when I am doing something and I see all those people who were around me when I was nothing, and they see me now. That’s the sweetest thing ever. Not that you blow up and you start hanging out with different people. You need to keep the people that were there with you when you were grinding.”
